WHO
ARE WE?
As
founder and director of uwk languages in 1992, Ute Wieczorek-King and
her carefully chosen team of tutors have been delivering
both English and foreign languages courses to companies and individuals
for 14 years. Ute is a native German speaker who is completely bilingual and has lived in the
Thames Valley/UK for many years. She has a degree in English (including Teaching English as A Foreign Language), German and Geography, a
P.G.C.E., and is a fully qualified teacher. She has studied Psychology and has always had an interest in people, in how they learn and interact, especially when from different cultures. Her background in teaching includes experience in pre-school Montessori education, primary and secondary schools as well as adult education.
In addition she is a qualified performance coach for business and sets
up integrated programmes, that combine training and coaching in
language, communication, culture and performance.
Regardless of whether courses are one-to-one or group courses,
training or coaching sessions, Ute believes that the individual learner and their needs are always paramount.
uwk tutors aim to inspire and empower learners and provide them with the tools and resources for a continuous and sustained process of learning and development.
Their objective is to create a learning environment that provides clients with an innovative, stimulating, and ultimately rewarding experience.
